Amy Dietz

Amy grew up sailing on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Every year, her parents would charter a boat for a month to travel the east coast. At the age of 8, she was sent to sailing camp in Brewster, Cape Cod, where she returned year after year, eventually exploring other Cape Cod sailing schools as well. For 5 years during high school and college, she taught sailing at a club in Boston on Hobie cats, lasers, and 420s. During her final years there, she was the head instructor, overseeing the curriculum and all levels of the summer camp program, coaching the racing group. After moving to New York, Amy worked at the Manhattan Sailing School teaching ASA Basic Keelboat Sailing for two seasons. Occasionally, when not sailing, she windsurfs.

Amy has been instrumental in leading our sailing school since the Sail Club was founded in 2015.
