Learn to Sail with a Discovery Membership

ONE15 Brooklyn Sail Club is offering the Discovery Membership for adults interested in joining the Sail Club and taking more structured approach to sailing instruction. The Discovery Membership follows the US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification standards.

You’ll be getting:

• A digital copy of ONE15’s “Introduction to Sailing’ primer.
• The Intro Sail – an introductory practical sail on a boat with an experienced member of the Sail Club which we call a Fleet Captain sail.
• An online course. After your intro sail, we’ll send you registration information for the US Sailing – Basic Keelboat Online course. We ask that you complete the course before your full day of mentoring.  
• A full day (8-hours) of mentoring just for Discovery Members after completion of the Basic Keelboat online course. We’ll schedule this on a weekend.
• US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification (after successful completion of an online test).

Discovery members can also to take advantage of all the non-sailing membership benefits such as discounts at Ebb & Flow Bakery and Estuary Restaurant.
