We have a lot to accomplish and our members have high expectations. Sailing School Program Manager

The Sailing School Program Manager will oversee the Club’s sailing school program. This person needs to be a strong leader, communicator, skilled sailor, and have great management skills. The most desirable applicant will have a background in hospitality and education as well. The person will work with the Director of Sailing Operations to cover all aspects of the business. Sail Center Associates

Our Sail Center Associates help our coaches, members students and guests with checking in, setting up boats, casting off and returning to the Club docks. Dockmasters also act as an information resource to general public and help educate them on our ONE15 Brooklyn Marina activities. This is a seasonal position starting mid-March 2016 through October. Depending on our requirements, this may lead to off season assignments as well.

Service & Operations Crew

We are looking for a few operations staff to help us maintain our fleet of high performance sailboats and support boats. We are looking for folks who are organized and well versed in preventative maintenance and sailboat repairs. USCG or better and US Sailing instructional certifications are helpful. Experience running race committee and other race related activities are a big plus. This is a seasonal position starting mid-March 2016 through October. Depending on our requirements, this may lead to off season assignments as well.

Sailing Coaches

We are looking for a few good sailors – those who love coaching and sailing. Our coaches are responsible for impact skills and knowledge to new sailors and our members. Responsibilities include but not limited to teaching US Sailing courses, coaching members, running private classes and private charters and assisting in operations and boat maintenance. This is a seasonal position starting mid-March 2016 through October.

Ideal Qualifications: US Sailing Basic Keelboat Instructor certified with USCG OUPV and or higher credentials. Please contact us even if you don’t have these requirements.
